Instead of a polyethylene lining to prevent condensation and leaking, these cups are lined with PLA (poly-lactic acid), a renewable resource, which is compostable and derived entirely from plants. These cups are ASTM D6868-11 compliant and BPI certified. They can be paired with versatile Genuine Joe lids (10212 - sold separately) that also fit Genuine Joe 12 oz. cups for a more efficient beverage center.
